Our narcotic detection K-9’s are all trained on 6 basic drug odors. These are
Marijuana, Cocaine, Crack Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Heroin, and Hashish. They will also alert on
Ecstasy and LSD. They are put through a very thorough and intensive training program; with at least 2 weeks working in different environments such as schools, motels, airports, salvage yards and trucking companies. They are trained to search in many different situations and scenarios, including highway drug interdiction searches.
Handler training and certification is included in purchase price. Handler training is approved by
P.O.S.T. for 40 hours of continuing education credit to law enforcement.* In addition we guarantee all of our dogs with both working and health guarantees, and offer 20 hours of free refresher training for 5 years.
